Looking for a lake/pond south of Concord for some trout action. Now that the bob house is of the lake looking for some place to quick fish.

well there are the few lakes like massabesic and canobie with trout. but the action is usually slow at best .then there is tower hill which can also be slow but an ocasional brookie or brown can be had there but the pond has been drawn down this year .it is still fishable though with caution of course..
also there is cobbetts pond where access is denied to the public but if you can find a way on the pond without getting your vehicle towed you have the oppertunity to also get into a brown or rainbow .thats all that comes to mind at the time but i'm sure there is more places out there ..

I know its not south of you, but bow lake isn't that far.
There's some decent numbers of rainbows and browns stocked there every year.

And Pleasant Lake in Deerfield is east of Concord and it is pretty well known to hold brookies, browns, and rainbows.  Get there early if you go, it's a pretty busy place on the weekends.

Cobbetts beach is town residents only however they don't really enforce that in the winter. Some of them will, most of the time you are fine.

You have beaver lake in Derry as well but slow fishing.

Take the ride north, it's well worth it.

How about Emerald Lake in Hillsboro, I know they have bows and browns, never been on it before so check any regs. Make sure it's open to ice fishing as well.

Good luck where ever you go

Hey Fishaddict,

I can't promise, but I could probably get ya hooked up with a couple trout over on Pleasant...Browns/Rainbows (usually between 12-16") with an occasional 17-18" ...Send a PM if you're interested...
