There was a report last Sunday that someone found dozens of dead fish on the bottom on the east side of the lake just below all those big fancy houses.

devils west of calahoo? from time to time a guy can do well in that little swamp, and after talking to the guy at the fishin hole last week he claimed his friend who has a shack on the ice (which ive never ever seen on that lake in the last 3 years ive fish) has limited twice this year on the perch. Ive had little luck catching a few 6 inch perch and getting beat by my easy jigger with the pike. everyone goes to the west side reeds, or by the creek (hall on the shore). id be interested in trying the east side just to see if the water is any clearer and such. maybe monday. will see!

That lake is not very good anymore.
Not working for 2.5 years because of a bad back is taking it's effect on my bank roll...but hey,my fishing skills are much better :}

I seem to remember there was a big drop off on the east side of the island, I havent been there for at 15 years. I could be mistaken though, as I get older this sometimes happens. lol  This should still not be deep though. Just faster than the rest of the shore line.
Gonna get me a 16" Perch this year.
