Funny Disasters?

On our way to sayers this morning, Tomahawker and I were traveling I99 at a moderate (75mph) rate of speed, anticipating our first trek on the ice at this lake. I pull a small trailor so we can take one vehicle and haul both our fish traps. The look on my face had to be priceless when my attention was drawn to the rearview.  The image i saw was my fish trap guide airborne then sparks on the highway as it came to a screaching hault. Oh and most of my gear was already inside the sled!  I thought the highway was gonna look like a yardsale with everything scattered and my trap in pieces! The only thing thrown out was my lantern (which was destroyed almost beyond recognition). Thank god my cover kept almost everything from coming out! My trap came out almost unscathed. Could not believe it! At least I can laugh about it now. I guess I am looking for some comfort in your mishaps. Anybody have something like this happen or am I a true one of a kind idiot? Dont answer that last part!

Russ sent me a pm bout you mishap. all i can say is    IT happens.   glad to here it wasn't a total loss.and those traps are tuff.

lol Thanks! Wait till i talk to him! i told him not to tell! My buddy was suprised we even fished, he said he would've gone back home! Im glad we did, we had our best day ice fishing to date! This is mine and tomahawkers first year on the ice, I hope it is a long while before something like this happens again!
