head towards the middle of the lake and find a drop off from approximately 5 feet deep to 20 feet deep.  We ran to flags all day on saturday.  Lots of pickerel and big bass and couple 14" browns.  No salmon, but people near us caught some.

ive fished it a few times. had good luck with brookies and browns.. also large mouth bass... from the carry in boat launch, up lake and to the left where it narrows down is a good area.. drops off quick... and up lake to the left  about 400yds there is a brook that dumps in..good jigging for trout there...

There is a church by/on cottage road you can park at.  But, ya, you can park on a lot of the places on the road, just have to find a way to get onto the ice after.  There is a boat launch near the church though (different one then the carry on boat launch on Mast Road).

To keep the parking there from becoming a problem, just be courteous and remember that the church parking lot is used for church services.  These folks arrive later in the morning and might not wish to have the spots blocked with trucks and trailers.  Wouldn't hurt to dash inside and toss some money in the collection plate to keep the relationship smooth.   ;)

oh man what a mess .   Deep deep snow and big old slush holes everywhere .  If you saw someone coming across the lake with a 4x4 wheeler towing a jag 440 through all that mess out there it was me .   You got to love the tire chains when the lake is like that .   Still had a fun day

Fished it last year around this time from my buddies camp on the north side.  He wanted to stay out in front of the camp which we did and had very slow fishing.  I've since heard from someone who owns a camp on the south side that most people fish in and around some narrows by exposed rocks in front of his place.  I'll check but I'm pretty certain his camp is on Cottage Rd which was noted in a previous post.
You're not really lost if you don't care where you are.
