In the years that I have used my Mora every time I order blades they have always come in the OE. Mora blade. I just ordered two sets from fish USA one of the IS sponsors. They had the best price and shipping price.

got an old 6" mora i've been using for about 20 years on early ice...found adapters (milled aluminum) to "retro-fit" lazer blades to it at a local hardware store the other day...looks like a neat idea...hope it boosts the performance!

Now that sounds interesting bassrat. Any chance you have a name for this product or a picture?

Thanks bee, there are some on there right now, $25.00. I think I'll wait and see if there are any reports on these adapters.

The best way to replace the blades on a Mora is to
unscrew the top knob, slide a Finbore or Nils under it
and re-tighten the knob  ;D

And use the non offset handles? I don't think so :D
The best way is to drill ONE hole, then shimmy it down the hole and let her sink. Make sure you have a NILS on the way, put the nearest boat landing as your address...

The Mora blades are actually really easy to sharpen if you know what your doing. I sharpen my dads for him and the blades were in not the greatest shape, the edge tends to fold over and create a bur. His is a chinesse Mora, he needed an auger and didn't want to spend a lot of money. It actually cuts very well it just takes quite a bit of effort to turn it compared to the Lazers.

I am also curious and went looking for the adapter on ebay but couldn't find any. I have an 8" Mora that I would like to convert to Lazer blades. Anyone know where to find the adapters?
