You see people here and there but it really is a unsafe spot when the water drops in the river you are standing on a piece up unsupported ice then the ice may freeze again basically making two shelves there.Its doesn't happen alot but the last time a friend fished it he went through and crammed him leg in between the two layers of ice and could hardly get out.I stay away from there.lots of other places to fish where its safer also.
