Anyone in Fairbanks fish here?

So, has anyone fished behind the parking pond/slough where they park the Binkley paddlewheelers?  I know it's deep enough, and I saw a small portable on the outlet side of the pond...  Just wondered if perhaps it would be good to spear whitefish in there??

I never seen anyone before but we can give it a go and put the camera down and have a look see. Sounds like burbot might come in and out of there to feed too.

Not yet but we'll plan something soon. Once this weather breaks and the sun stays up a little longer everyone else will be out too!
