cordless drill augers

i am thinking of getting an auger & drill for this year. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind and where to get them. Thanks for any input

 Get a strikemaster lazer auger and get on ebay for the attachment. Make sure you get a good cordless drill because a cheap model will not last. Make sure the drill is at least 18 volts and keep the auger to a 5 or 6 inch for best results. If the ice is over a foot thick stay with your gas auger.
 I have one and use it first ice till the ice get to thick then its time for the gas auger.

IMHO...if it were only good for 6 inches, I'd use a manual auger. I can burn through 6 inches in no time flat.
