Well, I am very happy to hear this information.... I think I am going to look for a Strike Master... Light Weight is a big deal and I don't have a long Ice Season.... I hope that I have good luck with it... Now I need to get a good deal on one... :tipup:

Hey mole, the ckeck the link i posted. The store offers free shipping and the prices are not that bad. I have fished with Jiffys all my fishing life (which is about 22 years) and the only time i have ever seen a Jiffy crap out is when i ran it out of gas!

I just saw some "factory demo" (5?) Nils Masters on ebay this morning. You might be able to get a deal on one of those. They came up on a search of "Nils Master". Good luck. Anything is better then cutting 2'+ with a hand auger. ;)
