Easy Bite
« on: Sep 17, 2011, 12:25 PM »
Anyone try these? Got a med. action rod (which they claim these are designed for) that I want to run some 1/4 - 3/8 oz. spoons on. The typical spring bobbers are too thin/sensitive...suggestions also welcome.

Fashion your own from the piece of wire that always seems to work loose from your windsheild wipers, Wrap an oversize guide to it , finish it Sally Hanson`s Hard as Nails and your good to go! Lot stiffer for the big spoons you are planning on using it for. Shouldn`t need a bite detector with the spoons , they tend to pop em good!

Agree...  Never needed an indicator for a spoon...

IMO - this entire system looks like a complete waste of $
