anyone hit long lake yet?

went to hawaii last month and have my auger to fix still so i haven't been out yet.  Has anyone hit long lake yet, if so how are the ice and snow conditions.

was out there on wendsday the thin ice is about a foot thick the snow berm has been plowed through but there is about 15 inches of snow on the lake so drive fast and stay on the left side of the lake there was overflow so definetly stay away from the right side carry a shovel other than that those fish are hungry feed them some sharp metal

yeh you might be looking at some work pending were you put it seems like the left side had alot less snow than the right so you might just make it you had that shack out there last year right we went over to were it was set up last year and caught some dinks you might try seting up closer to the big rock but I think anywere you set up your gonna catch dinks good luck and hope to see you out there

might go up the lake a ways on the left and put it in alot deeper water.

Just so everyone knows we drove past long on the way out to do some huntin today and theres about 2.5ft of snow on the lake so if anyone is planning a trip its walkin or machine in only I don't think I'd risk a wheeler unless you got 30in of ground clearence did manage 2 bunnies apiece and 1 ptarmagin apiece good day glad I didn't go campin yesterday
