Boysen Perch/Walleye
« on: Dec 06, 2009, 10:30 PM »
Caught 13 perch and 9 walleyes out of Boysen in a 24 hour period.  One walleye went 3 1/2 lbs.  Not bad for the first run.  Auger's running well and the furnace in the trailer didn't blow up, so I guess all's well.

Thanks  man!!!   I'll catch ya out on the ice.  Not sure when I'm going next.  Christmas always seems to get in my way.  Christmas shopping, Christmas parties......When I was younger, it was ice fish first, Christmas second!  Oh well.  I'm sure I'll get out enough to apease myself.

Long point, were you over in poison on the north shore line with the yellow and white camper?
I'd rather do it on the ice

Great thing about ice fishing is, if the fish don't bite at least you know the "BEER" will stay cold!

Just tip-ups.  Ya let me know how it is.  It''ll be a few days before I get there again.  I was gonna jig, but it was the first trip so I was trying to get everthing in working order.  Plus it was cold as heck.  Good luck!!

Heading back to Ocean again tomorrow. If it has slowed down I'll have to see what Boysen has to offer. Any updates on the ice there?
