boot repair
« on: Jan 26, 2009, 07:35 PM »
I was fishing 1-25-09, temp about 7+f. My right foot started getting cold. My boot had about a 7" tear in a seam on the side. Well since I didn't want to miss any fishing time, I stuffed a glove in the hole and wrapped a bungy around it. I fished until dark and caught 25 perch. GOOD DAY! I took a picture, but I can't figure out how to post it. Anyway I just ordered a pair of Trans-Alaska boots from Cabelas.     I figured it out, well the little woman did.

Love them. I put some sheetmetal screws in them for traction. I have no complaints.
