I was holding out hope that it wouldn't be too bad today, oh well. Was also prepared in case the phone rang and the Good Ol' Boy network was going to reveal some thin ice worth venturing onto this weekend.

Looks like I'm getting snow tires installed this weekend instead.

C'mon next weekend!!!!  ;D

So much for Black ice fishing.

Any big lake in CT worth putting time on was probably clear of any ice after that rain.  Now we can start fresh with this cold front and we will have our black ice.  There are probably small ponds that held up in the NW through the rain and won't have the black.
