Whats the dates? Never caught a pout, and here mixed reviews. However, from the reviews, I think the perception of poutin' overshadows the quality of the eats.

Amortec, yes some people do FISH  ;D, Have you ever seen the Trophy for the biggest Pout!!!  It gets taller every year.   I always have big dreams it would look good in my office.  I have never come close to winning it though.  Have a new secret spot for this year! :tipup:   We did hit the jumbo perch last year though during eelpout and had a great time, only caught pesky walleyes fishing for Pout though  :P

Always wanted to go, but never made it. Would be a ton of fun, though! Anyone going solo that might want company? Might be nice to band together was some shantiers and go in on the cost...

Hey duck iv always gone alone but then i fish alone 99% of the time... Maybe ice shanty would do something this year ... Hows about it skipper ? Maybe even a ice shanty get to gether at pout fest in 2010 ?

Depends on how much you can drink.. In past years iv had to work it so iv came out ahead but the last couple years i have spent 200 up there easyley !

Ill be there with about 6 other fishhouses. We bring an army every year. Our group had a oversized mickey mouse stuffed animal flying 20' in the air last year. Cant wait.  ;D
