best waterproof warm boots for kids?
« on: Jan 27, 2011, 11:04 PM »
Good evening all,
I need to get my son a real pair of winter boots. His current ones arent water proof, or really warm for that matter. Hoping to pick up a really good warm, water proof pair. He is 4.5 yrs old. Any of you icefishng parents with some experience have a pair you really like? Thanks,Chris

Hi, I would would check out the sponsor's site right here. I'm sure they handle kids boots. Just got a pair of the Muck Artic Extremes warm as heck. I was just wondering what would make a kids boot different than ours? I know the size and growing out of them are concerns. But wouldn't we want the same in a kiddy boot that we want in ours? Easy to put on, waterproof, warm and maybe a splash of color for the eyes. If you have something that works for you, I would see if the same are made in wee sizes.

Ted
