Gratiot lk ?

anyone been up to check Gratiot lk ? I really want to fish that lk this winter ive done well fishin walleyes there but its been a few years

I'm headin up north on friday to the harbor, hopefully the ice and the bite is good...if it's not we might be checking out gratiot so I'll post back on the conditions.

Gratiot and more so Medora are snow magnets.  I wish it were otherwise as I hand pull my gear for the most part and those lakes can be a work-out to say the least. 

I checked the web cams for Copper Harbor yesterday and there was little to no ice, look like it might have started to form up over night.

Thanks for the links.  Well the ice doesn't exactly look very promising, although the ice over by the marina is the first to form.  Hopefully there's some good ice over there, otherwise I will be fishing somewhere else.

Didn't get to check out the ice on gratiot, but I have heard that some people fished the lake a few days ago...although they said it only took 1-2 spud hits to break through

Yeah i heard the same report. Lets hope after the holidays this ice around heregets alittle better then it is  Went to Sandy on saturday and it wasnt much better

Talking to someone that lives on the lake yesterday...he said there been cars at the launch.
