Going Salmon Fishing tomorrow Where?
« on: Mar 05, 2009, 07:10 PM »
Going Salmon fishing tomorrow. Target now is Plugs but I don't know the ice conditions. I'm open to White's Baddacook, Comet, or Mattawa.
Any ice reports from any of these places?

I was on Baddacook last Thursday and I haven't been back this week because I don't want to go alone.  There was 8 inches, 3 of which were black on the bottom.  A foot of snow on top of that makes me a little leary.  If you go there, let me know how it is.  I think I'm flying solo for Saturday.  No chance of escaping repsonsibilities tomorrow...

I am heading east to fish open water for salmon. Its going to be REAL warm the next three days..be careful out there guys. Comet and Mattawa should have some ice. I'd be too scared to fish much east of there...

Better head south of me, we've still got ice thick enough for a 4 wheeler.  Assuming it doesn't go through on his way off anyway...

Cape...The larger salmon/trout ponds are wide open.
