Lost My Auger

Yesterday I lost my auger fishing at Sandy Pond, at the Elms. It's just a 6" Mora hand auger, but right now it's the only auger I have. If you found it, please please please let me know, as it's the only auger I have. If not, I think my ice season might be over...  Thanks.

Hey Zach sorry to hear you lost your auger . We have 3 hand augers and if you want one let me know.
We usually get too much ice and we do way more pike fishing them panfishing so 3 is more than we need.

You must be busy with school as i haven't heard from you in awhile.
We had a super great year at Bakers estate this year .
How did you and your dad do?

We tried to get a few days of bowhunting in before the Saturday opener but it poured down rain for 3 days.
There seemed to be alot of deer this year and very few hunters on the estate.

We will have to hook up next year for a couple beers and a chat,we will be at the old fire tower site again this fall.

Also could offer an extra auger. Mora 6". Fairly fresh blades. The ice season isn't over yet up here. I'd ask you to come join us but the money in gas would pry outweigh the cost of one  If noone local can hook you up and you don't mind driving it's yours, free. Had it a while and it's missing some paint but it still cuts.

zach,i have an 8'' fin bore ...if you want it let me know, my dad lives in duanesburg, i can send it out there tuesday. or are you still up north in school? either way it yours if you want it, i havent used it once since i got my nils.

Sorry to hear about your auger.  Seems like a lot of guys here are very helpful......good bunch!  But, I just have to ask.......how do you lose an auger?

It was on top of my sled. I was dragging it up the little hill from the ice, and I think it just rolled off and hit the mud. I was playing with someones chocolate lab, and wasnt really paying attention. Definitely a lapse on my part. Thanks for all the offers guys, what a great group of guys! I hope to fish with all of you.
