Nice purchase VTGoose. Besides having the piece of mind that, they may not be biting, but at least they're down there, there's another perk too. I was jigging on the bottom in 80 f.o.w. today, when a thick black line showed up at 20'. I reeled up quick, gave it a jig, and hooked what would have been my biggest laker yet. It swam right beneath the hole a couple times before throwing the hook. Those present estimated it could have pushed 10 lbs. A couple of lessons can be learned from this: sharpen your hooks, set 'em hard, and use sonar. Good investment. -former VT myself
