Anybody have any success with the Perch bite on Spirit Lake.
Went last weekend and drove on by Buffalo Run caught many small 7-8 inch perch.  Cleaned very few.

We sure had a hard time getting any 10".  Bait might have been the issue.  We were using Minnow heads, and wigglers.  Thinking straight minnows might have been the trick.  Didn't really give that a fair test.

Been catching them all over the place out in the main basin, but you will do a lot of sorting, and it will be helpful to stay mobile.  We sat in one spot this afternoon and caught about 40 and only one was a fat 9 incher, but we returned tham all.   Sunday we were hole hopping and were able to stayon them longer and were able to catch a bunch more.
