Mobility is the key

The warmer weather should allow for some really nice days of sitting outside the shack.  Keep it positive and enjoy the days!

Put on your waders, fish the shallows, then if you break through, you don't have to care!

Yes that is exactly how it feels, being dumped. Here in Wyoming though our resivors and lakes are slowly one by one being drained because of the drought. So it is like they always say things can always be worse.

Same here... we had a excellent day ice fishing yesterday, probably the best so far this year, but we are having a darn near a week of 50 degree weather and I needed water skies on my sled instead of snow skies and probably won't get out again until we have some really cold nights/days. I hope we get chilled down fast!! I too want winter to stay around for awhile. Smitty

Northern Indiana can be tough.  I had one year like this and I got pretty wet getting my 5x8 shanty off the ice which was about 15 ft from shore.  It had rained about 6 inches in a few days and 50+ degrees.  Good thing I got it off and didn't wait for a freeze back because it just got worse.  Feb 15th you've got to pull them off daily here.  Doesn't look good for next weekend here but we'll just wait and see as the edges will probably go if we get the rain the next couple days.
