1st Pike of the year....Finally!

Had a great afternoon today finally got the 1st pike of the year...37 in 14lb fatty...took a 4 in live shiner....had to be carefull it hit the tip up with the 25lb floro leader.....Got some bass and jigged up a bunch of calicos..


all i had was my phone the  one day I forget my camera!

i think i'm going pike fishing next weekend, been hitting the salmon pretty good, might as well target something new...right?

you got big brass ones using 25 lb I know a guy who last week had 80 lb floro snapped you only get one shot at a true hog steel is real.

Ha you are dead right! I have caught em all on floro, and snapped some off... I roll the dice for sure...I am prob going to set a couple of tips up with steel for some big dead bait rigs...
