northsore report 1/31

topsfield, ma... 8am-3. 15 flags, mostly rat bass and picks up to 22.5 inches...  good group out there...  i got my PB ice bass which was 5lbs11oz...2nd biggest bass of my life...[/img]

Just curious.
Were you fishing around the ice with no snow cover.
It seems the fish are more active when the ice is not snow covered.
