Cobbetts 1-25

Hit the ice just afternoon figuring it would have warmed up a bit. Nope it was still cold. Four of us ended up with 2 (small) browns, a bunch of bass, one pic and some resident yellow perch.
 Today the sleds were an issue. Apparently we set up to close to a path they choose to run in at full speed. Only one obeyed the speed law within so many feet of people. The rest just blew by like we shouldn't have been on the ice in the way. I think F&G needs to pay that lake a visit. They could get some much needed revenue form a couple weekends spent on that lake.
Time to drop the dime.

I fished this morning and caught bunch of perch, alot of  big pics and 5 nice bass in the three pound range. There wasnt much traffic til about noon thats when I picked up. I havent seen a game warden out there since they blocked off the town beach, even then ive only been checked once and I fish it all the time. It would be nice if they came more I had a trap run over last year.

Where do you fish?....I am just off the town beach in the tan bob house. Stop by and introduce yourself if you see us out there, I always have the big yellow lab with me too since he loves being on the ice. Look forward to meeting you, and getting some knowledge of where the browns may be lurking.

I have access of the beach, but I have been fishing with a guy who parks at the town beach and walks it out. Not too far.....If you want to join us, you can't miss us since we are right now the bob house near the town beach.....tan w/2 windows. Last week I had it at 60deg. when it was -10 outside. Come and join us!

I'm sure I'd be held responsible for personal injury BUT I always wanted to attach a grapple hook to the top of a trap with 20 feet of chain thru 2 ice holes.
