Dang dude...I got the bait...you got the pike....

A guy met last year (who doesn't really ice fish) traps.  he went with me 2 weeks ago and said "I just took the siene and made a scoop under a culvert near my last traps so I got some minnows"    They were awesome...nice assortment of pinky size walleye type minnows, a few smaller crappie minnows, and a bunch of the large 5-6" true creek chubs.  He said they are all over in this creek which is only 4" deep except for a couple places near the culverts.

Easy beaver. Just try nettin em below the dam by the hatchery.  In the summer it is infested with suckers.....  Make sure and throw the trout back in. ;)  I'm sure D Hes has a seine.  I here grass frogs work decent too if you have a beed on some.

Eastwesterner....shoul d I know you?    Cant go down to the hatchery.  Everything is frozen over.  All the chubs are way down stream in one hole and they were just above the ice,  they saw me jetted way back under the ice.  oh well   we been fishin the Mill pond and weve got 55 little gills and homers dad picked us up some suckers from Mission.  In that batch of suckers was a Grass  Frog  so were good to go :tipup: :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:  D Hes has a coyote calling contest tomorrow but he may stop by.

Boji..you should come up sometime.  you sholdnt even need any bait this weekend ::)
