time to let this topic die.

 ;) Just quit looking.   :P  It's a great topic and good to see all the options out there.  Was not too many years ago that cordless options as good alternatives to fuel powered augers were even considered by many folks.  Now, they are one of the best options, and there a lot of them.

Guess I'm old school I have an old Strike Master that runs off my marine battery that I use in the summer for my trolling motor. Yea it's heavy but has never, ever failed me even in AK at 20 below. Not sure about the new batteries but I would have to go with the lithium(?) if I do replace old reliable...
