aqua vu micro spool idea

so i am sick of the spool on my aqua vu micro. i think i have found a solution and will report back after trying it today at lunch...it has to do with a leader holder i recently picked up from sportsmanswarehouse that looks like this...

 ya x2 on the spool, I ended up just put a heavey rubberband around the spool, it keeps it from unwinding and you can still unspool as needed. not the classiest of idea's but it serves the purpose.

well i tried it at lunch... worked great for 35' of the line but ran out of room on the spool  need one that is bigger...i think i might try making one

well aqua-vu micro users i put something together! i used a medical tape roll with the inner spool and out plastic protector. a teflon tape roll would work as well. the secret is to sand down the inside spool a little so that it moves inside the plastic protector better. Cut a notch in the plastic protector and a hole that the plug for the cable can fit through to the center of the spool. if you add a little knob  you can turn the inner spool (disconnect the plug )
Just need to figure a way to connect it to the micro...
