Eskimo 949i replace cinch sack
« on: Nov 27, 2017, 08:56 PM »
Has anyone switched the cinch sack that comes with the 949i for a duffel style bag?

What bag did you go with?

Google tree storage bag and see what you think. They come in various sizes and look like they would do the job. Some are 600 denier material.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

I've looked at a lot of those and have been on the fence. The collapsed size of this one is 65" and all the bags that are 65" long either seem to be questionable fabric, or 30" tall. Kind of a toss up. I'll keep looking though.

I use three bungee cords and have stopped wrestling with getting the shanty in the bag.. wrap with the bungees and throw it in sled away from auger of course.. I throw thd stakes and cords in bottom of sled easy as can be if you do it right.. and plan how to pack it..
