Tiny shack
« on: Oct 01, 2005, 03:17 PM »
Here is the 4X3 shack I built to put out alone by laying it down (there are ripped 2X3 runners on that side which becomes the bottom) and pulling it by hand. It fits in the pickup without taking the cap off so no trailer is needed.  Its not meant as a portable, just meant to be manageable for one man with no machine.

I still have to put a roof on, prob just a stapled on small tarp.  I am going to cut in a window on each side also.  A rope at the sloped end will allow a pull point.  With a machine a guy could tow it easily quite far. Pretty light, luan and ripped 2X3's.  Floor is 3/4 PT though. I don't plan to jig in it, I guess, just stay warm and watch for flags.  Not big enough for comfy jigging anyway.

Will have to be anchored for sure.
