BLUEGILL BAIT TIP
« on: Feb 15, 2003, 04:12 PM »
:'( I have good luck when I put a beemoth on say a #12 tear drop, I hook it through the tail end and let it hang. Then I pinch off the head and squeeze it ,it flattens out and the action in the water is great!  Anyone have any other bait tips?
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

if a beemoth is the same thing as a waxworm i have tried that too, looks like a white leach behind the jig.

Tried it this evening. I only caught 2 gills, but I caught them on your tip!I tried my usual stuff, but this cold front turned them off. So I tried it and only two fish of the night hit.
