I planned out a trip for the first two weeks in January to visit the family and fish for two weeks. The goal was to hit a whole bunch of different lakes and catch as many species and sizes of fish possible. I'll let the pics do the talking.

You can see the jig I use in the walleye's mouth in the pictures and I just thread a dead minnow onto the jig. We aren't allowed like minnows here in alberta, but the frozen ones work just fine if you put them on nicely.

Thanks guys. We fished 9 different lakes and a couple repeat days since it was pretty good.

One day three of us caught about 80 walleye and 30 pike, that's was the best day I think I've ever had on ice.
