Finally made it out on the ice for the first time this fall and was fortunate enough to get into a good fish.

My third walleye of the day was this big old female.

She measured 32 by 19.75 inches and was released unharmed after a few quick pics and a measurement.

Best part was watching her give a great big kick and swim away healthy and strong.

A big thanks goes out to Layne for clearing up a few questions I had that ended up saving me a lot of time. Thanks again Layne!
