Awsome day out on the ice today with two pics to prove it.

38" 25lbs and 34" 20lbs

Nice fish but your scale is about 10 lbs off.

Pike those lengths are usually around 15 and 10 lbs. respectively.....

Still a great catch

this is a 20 lb+ pike it was 44 inch....
bout 4 weeks back i had a 38" with 18" girth and she only topped at 15 lbs
nice fish anyway

Real nice pike you got there but ditto on the weights. 25# pike is gonna be in the 43"-45" range and pretty chunky.

Nice fish. Fireline is strong but not abrasion resistant. You better lip hook pike on fireline without steel. I had one bite me off Sunday, but after I put it on ice. I've lost several steelhead through the ice on 8lb fireline. The line frayed on the ice.

the olny bad thing about 6 lb line is when you get a little thump and you go to set the hook and theres nothing there lol thats the only downside .... you gotta have quick reactions i think to lip hook lizerds unless they are taking it very slowly imo

Don't tell about a 25lb Pike when you are showing pictures. It only makes people look real close at the pictures. Just tell the story!!! Nice fish anyway buddy...
