What are some decent spots to park on the south end of the lake to access?

Just curious does anyone even bother jigging out there. Went off broadalbin boat launch and had tip ups and my girlfriend got a super nice pike. But I’m planning on going next weekend to try for a 40 incher, but how can I pass time we didn’t mark a thing all day

Fished of Beacon yesterday, great ice slow action. Where to you park to fish Edinburg area?

Take the North Shore Rd. north, to the Town of Day Launch. With the poor amount of snow that we have gotten, you should have no problem getting in there and park. For reference, you are a little over 3 miles from the Batchlorville Bridge.

Is there parking available at sport Island pub to fish?
Has anyone been fishing up that way?

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

Anyone have any ice conditions updates?  Might have to dust off the fly rod as I'm guessing the water level is way up and the shorelines crap.

As far as an ice report,we have been fishing from the mayfield spillway all the way out to beacon and Wally’s, 10 inches of good ice everywhere, with a couple ice heaves to contend with. The shorelines aren’t bad down here yet.

If the ice is leaving I reckon you don't need to bother people for their favorite fishing spots
I'm not saying they're biting on Brant.  But they probably are

With the lake being as high as it is, the pike could be just about any where. If I were fishing I would be setting up over a "hump" that now has water on top. Most years they are out of the water at this time of the season. Peter I think you may know of a spot like that close to where you fish on this end of the lake. Don't wait too long the lake will be dropping.....h2l

I don't have the "exact" coordinate's and I would hate to send you in the wrong direction but right now there is about 10 feet of water on top of the hump and weeds from last year....h2l

They are going to have to take the lake down before Spring rains or snow melt. If they don't there may be some, not so good, issues up-stream....h2l
