WNY SPORTSMAN SHOW

THIS WEEK STARTS THURSDAY. WHO'S GOING? WONDER IF "THE LEGEND HANGER" WILL BE THERE? ::) MAYBE SOMEONE COULD GIVE HIM A RIDE. ;) LOOK FOR HIM AT THE BEER TENT. ;D

I have gone many times in the past and probally wont go again....I think there pointless unless your looking to go on a guided hunt or fishing trip.....They have more gear on sale at Gander Mountain

The WNY Sportsmans show is held at the Hamburg fair grounds Hamburg, N.Y.  Use the South Park enterance.  It starts Thursday 3/8 - Sunday 3/11.  Thursday during the day is not good, alot of people are just setting up.

MOST LIKELY ABOUT THE SAME. THOSE GUIDES TRAVEL AROUND LIKE GYPSIES THIS TIME OF YEAR. GOING AGAIN THIS YEAR HOPE TO SEE THE SAME SMOKIN CHICK THAT IS FROM SOME CAMP UP IN THE DACKS.

Man I really hate the show. Gone the wrong way. Only reason why I might so is for the trout pond for my kids. Oh I'll be in arcade catching em thru the ice.

Bucksik - are you tuff as nails? :)

I think Hanger was the guy who was passed out in the corner of the beer stands. did anyone seel that guy on Saturday sleepin like a log?

Eerie,  Hanger's working for one of the Boat dealers from the Island. He'll be there.  I'm gonna stop by, have a few brewski's with him.  Maybe buy some kennel corn off Buckshot.

Is it me or has this show gone down the toilet :-\. There are no good deals on equiptment at all. None of the major dealers give anything away. There are fewer and fewer guide services. Way too many Vol. fire halls and such selling raffle tickets. ( I'm a Vol. Fireman TOO !! So I do understand the reason for fund raising . )  I went today and spent my annual 30-40 dollars on fund raisers but was dissapionted in the show it self. How does everybody else feel?

Attended it last year, for the first time. Not what I expected. Thought I'd see more new stuff for hardwater and softwater fishin. Mostly, outfitters there. Talked to a few guys I never met there, and they felt the same way. Like they say, "Different strokes, for different folks"
