Anybody fishing Collins Sunday?

I'll bet there  until 11a.m. then I'm off to our annual card game b-4 the super bowl !!! I'll be in a camoflauge suit with Heitige tip ups by the island. Come by n say hi !!!

ill be there, i usually set up on the back side of the island, ill be in black snow pants and a brown flannel. Have you been down there recently, went last weekend and got mad after 3 hrs and not even a sinlge fish. It was a odd day at collins for me thats for sure.

Yea, I was there last Sunday. Got a few lg bass 2 bullhead alot of pickeral and a few pike. My brother got 1 pike and two pickerel. And my friend got two pickerel. We had a hell of a day! Sorry you didn't do well. That is unexpected for Collins. See ya Sunday !!!

There's Crappie and Perch. I hear Pickerel are good eatin if u know how to cut em. They have that Y bone, Good piece of meat if u cut directly down the spine and descent meat for a filet. Again bony so u gotta cut em rite. It's a good spot if u definitely wanna catch fish!! Great spot to bring the kids. About 9-10 inches of ice. Oh also I got 2 Bullhead last week if u like to munch on those ! I'll be in all camoflauge, stop by!!!

I'll be there i usually fish for crappie and perch but i sometimes fish shallow for the pike . I've caught some     monster crappie the past 2 yrs but none yet this yr.but it's still a fun place to fish

No gas powered augers. It's not huge but it holds a lot of fish.  I guess if ur jiggin u could hit it all in one day. I use tip ups, mostly fish for Pike n Walleye. I jig sometimes if I get bored.  U can park right next to the lake so u have about a 20ft walk to the water. It used to produce a lot of perch n crappie but people have fished it so much in the last few years and take everything they catch.

FGH collins is 56 acres.DEC website has a contour map sch'dy county.

There is a few walleye, heard of a couple caught this year, but not many !
