Setting up 4 wheeler for ice fishing
« on: Feb 14, 2018, 07:28 PM »
After all these years, finally thinking about using my Rancher to pull ice hut. Last weekend was a tough pull through slush by hand.

Thinking of adding cargo bags to carry some gear. Any thoughts on what bags or storage to add?

I have a hard pack because it's more waterproof than a soft bag on my grizzly.Front rack has an extender to carry more stuff.Between that and towing a sled more than enough cargo.

i have a rack on front for tip-ups etc.  I keep the auger in my gun rack and my clam shanty fits perfect behind my seat, against the rear rack.  there is also a hitch with a jet sled tow bar and sled.

A nice storage box/bag, a winch, windshield, hand warmers and a hitch.

I put a front basket rack on my rancher.  It's crazy how much stuff you can put in it.  I use it for all the things I want to keep in sight, like minnow pail, electronics, and heater.  On the back rack I put Clam auger mounts.  Could only use two of the three mounts because of the way the rack is designed, but it works.  On the tanks I have saddlebags for any small stuff I want to keep handy.
