First Bass of the Ice Season
« on: Dec 21, 2017, 01:21 PM »

Caught on little red wigglers, 1.5" spoon, jigging
Weight unknown. Didn't bring my scale. Estimated about 1# or slightly less. The fish hands make it look bigger :)

What was the length? No offense to your picture because I get the whole dramatic effect thing by putting the fish closer to the camera to make it look bigger than it is.  I really dislike guides and now people doing it because it's difficult to see what the true size of the fish really is. I'm not saying it wasn't a nice fish but was it 10", 12", 15" or larger...etc.  It does make a big difference...nice catch nonetheless.
