I thought I'd share a few pics captured under the ice with my GoPro while I was fishing.

I thought about doing the same.  Did you rig it to a rod with heavy Line?

I thought about doing the same.  Did you rig it to a rod with heavy Line?

 I went to the hardware store a bought a cheap piece of 3/4" pvc pipe about 5 ft long , glued a T style fitting on the top and glued 2 short pieces in the T about 6 inches long. This way you can drop the pvc through your hole in the ice and the T stops it from falling through the hole. You will also need to purchase the hand bar mount from GoPro to attach your camera to the pvc pipe with..
