Gorgeous Day except for the wind. Caught our most whites of the year along with a Laker and a Smallie. Saw two immatures Bald Eagles..Got to Meet Game Warden Arsenault as well...great way to end....Maybe will have to seek out a few non lake trout lakes with the ice still being so good in some places..

Great job on the whites. That wind was bad out of the north in the morning then switched to the SW in the afternoon. Made it out yesterday was surprised to see 14" of ice got a little sloppy at the end of the day. Got into a good smallie bite a couple over 3 lbs.

Yes still LOTS of ice where we were.....Glad you had a good day as well.

That a way to finish the season on the big lake.
Happy Easter!

Good job snoops. Wind was brutal for a while there but the ice was great and it was nice to get out one last time. I was in the group of 3 that came on mid morning.
Good luck if you hit any other ponds this year.

Nice job getting out... I was supposed to go with a buddy but got called into work - and of course they did well... whites, lakers, SMB, and of course a salmon that had to go back down).
Based on what I am hearing about the ice up north though - I am still thinking of getting in one more trip before calling it a season... maybe this week.
For those that are done - enjoy the open water.
