I just pulled out my Baffin control max boots out of my closet and added a couple coats of obenauf's heavy duty LP and my Simms guide G3 pull on boots for warmer days.

So what boots are you using?

I wear Cabela’s trans-Alaskan lll boots. I’m amazed they keep my low-circulation toes warm every time. I wouldn’t want to try driving in these things, but for my ice-fishing adventures, my feet stay nice and warm.

I still have my old Lacrosse Extreme PFT from like maybe 15+ years ago, but don't go driving with it. It's a bit too wide and depressing both gas and brakes pedals on icy road is asking for a spin out.

So last year or two ago I bought the Irish Setter Snow Claw XT and I can drive in those. Plus I was able to get them Hillsound Trail Crampon Pro XL on these foot gear. As long as I get enough snow before the lakes freezes...I can go ice fishing on Xmas.

Good question.im not sure what boots i will be using this year.my muck arctic pros have a whole tube of shoo goo slathered on them where they cracked after wearing them a handful of times.got my old mickeys still but dread putting those back on with arthritis in my hip.thinking baffin titans..

Muck Artic, this is going to be my 3rd season with them and so far they are holding up great.

Muck Artic pros for most days if it gets extremely cold I have sorel hi artics but they are bulky to walk in.

I love my Baffin Eigers I got last year. They're the same as the Impacts, just a little shorter. My Striker Hardwater wouldn't fit over the Impacts, but I can just squeeze them over the Eigers. Extremely warm and comfortable. My feet got cold in every boot I tried before these. My buddy got the Cabelas Trans Alaskans last year, and those also look good. His Striker bibs fit over them easier than my Baffin Eigers.

I'll be wearing my Mickey boots again.
I keep thinking about buying another pair of the bunny boots ever since my last pair wore out.
But I have yet to get cold feet in the Mickey's so I guess I'll just keep wearing them.

I’ve been wearing muck woody sports for the past 4-5 years, they split apart where they flex late last season so they are leaking like crazy now. I just ordered the muck wetland wide calf boots last week to use this year. They are similar to the woody sport in the insulation department and have a gusset in the back which should make it easier to tuck my pant legs in when needed. I had a pair or Arctic sports for quite awhile but they were heavy and I don’t think they kept my feet as warm as the woody sport. My feet don’t usually get very cold ice fishing my main thing is that they are dry.

I’m retiring the Muck Artics & going to give the Korkers a try ! Artics do ok but my toes still need warmers on certain days

Last two seasons with Cabelas predator pac boots going strong, a worthy ice fishing boot! Got my eye on those korkers polar vortex 1200!
