               I remember years ago the old timers ( me now ) using corn to bait the big whitefish in the lakes-- just saying

This is one "CORNY" thread. My "ears" are burning, and my "niblets" are getting cold. "Shucks", I guess it doesn't matter to the fish..."corn poop" is "corn poop" no matter if it's human or pescatoral in nature. I agree the cold weather does more damage to the fish than a few kernels! 🌽🐟
