Hi, my name is Dave and i have been known to....(gulp)...lurk.
I love this site! I think about it at work all day and can't wait to get on when i get home. There is a ton of knowledge on this site and hopefully when we do get ice it will be useful. I have posted on here a few times and have received great feedback. I hope to see some of you on the ice and possibly even share experiences with you.

I'm a professional lurker. This site may just draw me out!! From what I've seen, there is much less BS on this site and everyone is willing to help and/or offer advise.

I just found this site a couple weeks ago. Not much for posting but sure like reading, especially the perch fishing stuff. Love ice fishing but I don't get out as often as I would like to. Perch are my favorite to fish for, just can't seem to get enough of them. Used to be we'd ice fish with what we could carry in our pockets gear wise, now I need a truck to haul it all out onto the ice

I'm a big time lurker...

I have a tendency to read rather than write on forums just because of all internet ego's out there that will tell you that their way is the only way. I'd rather not argue about something as stupid as what flasher brand is the best when whatever somebody uses makes them happy. I will say that the Shanty is one of the best when it comes to avoiding problems like this though!

Knowing that some of you are interested in finding out more about a "lurker" like me, I'll definitely be up to posting more.

I stumbled in here last year looking for some info on something or other. It only took me maybe a couple of weeks to register. I'll be the guy that most often offers an alternative opinion........

I was searching the web for ice fishing things and i opened up this site and starting reading some of the articles and i knew i wanted to belong to this site. I have been telling everybody about this place it is awesome.

There would be a lot less lurkers if the site did not allow access to reports and conditions with only a few posts. I think people should have to EARN the right to read that section of the site. Anyone can throw up 5 bogus posts just to gain access.

Hey all. Name is Eric live near Eagle River Wi and am fortunate enough to have ice to fish on. Bite is good here for walleyes now..gotta love first ice. Jigging bite has been way better than tip ups for me.

I love to lurk.............then i join in and stir the pot . cause there is nothing better than watching 5 or 6 people go at it in a fishing fight to the death OVER A SWIVEL. 1 tiny little word and baaaaammmmmmmmmmm sets them off.....

Professional Luker - 8 post in 30 hours and 29 minutes of on line Lurking ( .004 post per minute) !!!!!!

Love the site for learning new tips and tricks and for gathering building ideas (sled, heater mod’s etc) while we wait for the ice. Not enough knowledge or success rate to share anything valuable.

I have been lurking and skimming info off of this awesome site for a couple years. The user nodak finally convinced me to sign on. The positive attitude on this website is a breath of fresh air. Too many websites are ruled by a grumpy majority.
