My last day on the ice was last thursday.I fished for lakers and LLsalmon. Got 2 flags 1 salmon,1 small pike.I dont remember any dreams too often but during my ice fishing season I'd dream of ice fishing every night, all night long many great dreams, lol.

Jimmy the ice went real quick.The temps havent dropped below freezing for like 2 weeks. This weekend or early next week I hope to take out my rowboat and catch some LL salmon. I only started ice fishing last season but i'm a die hard now. I own 3 boats but it just aint the same as hard water. I dont know when but i'm getting a tip up tattoo.I love ice fishing!

I was inlake placid two week ends ago and there was less ice there then on Schoon coming back through...

Two flaggs and one salmon is still a good day!

I still check in despite the fact that trout season officially opens tomorrow. We're getting some nice rain, but I always hope for a blow out storm. It makes it hard for the yahoos to find the fish, plus moves them around a bit. Also, I just received my prize from Icegator; thanks to Lone Wolf and IS. Look out pan fish!

It is so hard to cope with the end of ice season. I am reading striped bass articles on-line and getting ready for that, but this is a tough time of year for someone whose first love is the ice. Bet the drug companies will make a Rx drug for us some day for coping.

Water way too high to fish... I could not understand why some one was shooting off rounds in the woods by my stream....figured out it wasn't guns, it was tops of big pines busting off from the wind when one went down 100 yards from me... and it was time to go home

Being in the woods down in the ravines, there was not much wind until you get up in the tree tops. It was howling up there in the canopies.

I'm still here too, but I have been getting things down around the house. Cleaned up and put away all my ice fishing gear, got my yard all raked and gardens are ready for summer. Dug my camper and boat out of the barn, cleaned and put away all my winter toys that were in the garage.

So now it's time to get a little fishing in as well as check out my turkey hot spots, but my wife says not so fast. Her mother called and wanted me to come down and clean up the mess in her yard. So here I go again, maybe next week.
