she pulls it. we help her along also. with a sandbag on the front she'll go on her own. in snow i think she'll do ok as long as it doesnt get to deep. byron should get a kick out of it

Lookin good, how is she powered ? run in to any law enforcement types yet?, I'd be interested to hear what they have to say. I'm still in the process of assembling mine.

Holy cow batman :o  It looks like Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang on the ice.  That is one heck of a contraption and alot of gear.  Never seen anything like it.  Can't wait to see it beerduck.  Good work.  :thumbsup:

just made it up as i went with alot of trial and error. but shes pretty sturdy now. 3.5hp push mower engine with a small tranny down to the axle.didnt run into any enforcement yet but we help pull it to steer its just a helper. taking the motor puller away would be like taking a power auger away.

I should start by telling the story about the first time I met Beerduck. Beth and myself were up at Hills Creek State Park and we see these two guys pulling a huge pile of gear across the lake. Huge pile is an understatement really, more like a small town on a sled, by the time they got near us I was wiping tears from my eyes :clap: :clap: :clap: I still laugh everytime I think of you pulling all that gear out to your spot.........

But, anyway........That is a heck of a setup, looks awesome :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Can't wait to see it in action.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang....I love it!! I am in the process of trying to make a new rig for stowing/transporting my gear.  i have collected enough junk er... equipment to necesitate something bigger than a 5 goallon bucket.  you've given me some new inspiration and ideas.

by the way...how did you do that day....that lake is right in my backyard, but i never fish it becasue i just get disgusted with it.

H*LL,  I hope you get some kind of an award for that thing!!!   There should be some category in the tourney for best sled , towing thing, or what ever you call it.  that is why PA is great.   People like you that push the envelope so YOU do not have to pull it   :clap: :clap: :clap:.  Take care  Brent
