Wool Jackets

With all the new synthetic high-tech clothing on the market today, I'm wondering if anyone wears good old fashioned wool out on the ice anymore.  I'm talking the old Filson or Woolrich jackets & such.  I've always like those jackets but don't personally wear them on the ice as I don't want to get them smeared with fish slime.  Dry cleaning gets expensive.

I wear my Filson coat and johnson pants on the ice.  Might throw gore-tex pants over the wool if the wind is really howling.

Wear my tinned filson everyday I fish. Wind doesn't bother me wwhen I wear that.....

nothing beats the old woolrich wool coat.  i wear it every time on the ice !!!!
