Picked up a 1968 yellowstone cavalier camper woth some water damage in a couple walls and ceiling.... Gonna start tearing it apart this week to see what i got myself into

Anyone ever restore a camper and have a tips of the trade?

Well i paid 100 bucks for it.... I stayed in a tent last deer season.... Id rather not
Do that again.... So this is my new project..... I know it isnt gonna be fun but the end result will be worth the pain is the arse.... Just gonna replace paneling and insulation and a few boards.... The water damage isnt bad

I did it. It's alot of work but worth it. Best bet, gut it out, insulate, wire the way you want and make it comfy...

I recommend adding a power vent like the Fantastic Fan. I added a roof cover over the vent so it can be used when there is snow on the roof

Well probably wont gut the entire thing.... As i do t have a bunch of money to sink into it.... Just trying to make it dece t enough for me n the wife to have a deer camp.... Im hoping i can get away with 300-400 in costs before plates but im thinking closer to 600-800
