I ordered a Hummingbird 55 last week from MarineGeneral. It showed up this morning!! Can't wait to give it a try.
I paid $450 for it and thought I had a great deal until I stopped in at the Scarborough Cabelas and they had it for $424.95!!!
Of course they only had on left on Sunday morning. I called MarineGeneral and pitched a fit about it!! The gal told me that the price Cabela's was selling it at was below Hummingbirds minimum allowable price and they were'nt supposed to go that low. Whatever that means!! She was going to ask her boss if he'd give me another $25 off. We'll see if they give me a credit. They've been great on all the other electronic goodies I've bought over the past few years. In reality,the sales tax made the price difference a wash but I did have to pay shipping.
