Title: Videos on how to clean Little buddy heater
Post by: 04toyota79 on Jan 21, 2016, 08:19 PM
I'm having trouble with my little buddy heater. Pilot lights but can't get it to stay lit no matter how long I hold the button. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same problem. Type it into Google there is a step by step process to clean out a small piece, has pictures to lead you along. It too me about 10 minutes and it works better than when it was new.

Just took mine apart and cleaned it well. Works like a charm now. Took maybe 15 minutes.

I've cleaned mine 2 times this year and 3-4 last year. Sucks you get to ice it's cold as heck and the stupid thing doesn't work. Looking at getting the bigger one with the filter built into it.

May have a thermal coupler issue ..or you have used a 20 # for a long time without a filter...

Just don't do what I did.  I had a clog in mine so I used a Q-Tip to clean the nozzle, then blew a bunch of canned air into it.  When it still wouldn't light, I blew the canned air in while repeatedly clicking the igniter.  Wasn't even thinking about the propellant in the canned air being flammable.  Facial hair is overrated anyway.
